Anyone play or got kids that play it? Got to get a load of this stuff for a Christmas present, seems it's a bit of a minefield these days with regards to playing surfaces, pitch sizes etc.
Thinking of going for a rubber backed ASTRO pitch, seems to be a bit of a better option in respect of a flat surface when not mounting on board.
Anyone flicked on astro before?

Yeh thinking of it, it was a load of shit.
The pitch always went like it had been half hoovered up.
Keeper on a stick through a little gap. Wass all that about.

I played with myself when i was young. and i did the same with Subbuteo. Always was West Ham, played full seasons, always came about 3rd or 4th, so i couldn't be accused of bias.

many good childhood memories on this. Had our on a hard board back and most evenings had it on the kitchen table.
Must have had 50 teams, stands, floodlights the lot.
Used to play tournaments with my brother.
Video(games) killed the astroturf star

PES 2015 is supposed to be the best one for years and better than fifa, just doesn't have the licenses and presentation.
